Customize TradeVision to match your workflow. Settings are organized into tabs: Accounts, Preferences, and more.

Accounts

Adding an Account

  1. Go to ToolsSettings
  2. Open the Accounts tab
  3. Click Add Account
  4. Enter:
    • Name – e.g., "Main Brokerage", "Prop Account"
    • Broker – Optional, for reference
    • Starting balance – For P&L calculations
    • Currency – GBP, USD, EUR, etc.
    • Account type – Live, Paper, Demo, IRA
  5. Save

Switching Accounts

Use the account selector in the header to switch between accounts. Your active account determines which trades and data you see.

Editing Accounts

Click an account to edit its details. You can update balance, currency, or type at any time.

Preferences

General

  • Timezone – For trade timestamps and session analysis
  • Currency – Default currency for P&L display
  • Date format – How dates appear (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY)
  • Time format – 12-hour or 24-hour

Dashboard

  • Default dashboard – Which dashboard loads on login
  • Default landing page – Dashboard, Trade Log, or Custom Dashboard

Display

  • Theme – Light or dark mode
  • Compact mode – Reduce spacing for more content

Risk Settings

Configure default risk parameters:

  • Default risk per trade – R-multiple base
  • Max drawdown alert – Notify when drawdown exceeds threshold
  • Position size limits – Optional caps

Notifications

  • Email notifications – Optional alerts
  • Drawdown alerts – When account drops by X%

Data & Privacy

  • Export all data – Full data export
  • Delete account – Permanently remove account and data

Keyboard Shortcuts

Speed up your workflow with shortcuts:

  • Add trade – Quick access from anywhere
  • Search – Open search
  • Navigate – Jump between sections
