This Privacy Policy describes how TradeVision (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website and services (the “Service”). We designed it to be straightforward and readable — no dark patterns, no hidden data sales.

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Trading data: trades, notes, screenshots, playbooks, and other content you upload or enter into the Service.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, device information, IP address, and approximate location, collected via cookies and analytics tools.
• Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card details on our servers.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To authenticate users and secure accounts.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support requests.
• To analyse usage and improve product performance.
• To comply with legal obligations.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the basis of contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or your consent, depending on the processing activity.

We share information only in the following cases:

• Service providers: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and analytics providers acting on our behalf.

We retain your account information and trading data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud prevention purposes.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
